Social Services
A variety of services are available at the Centro Latino including referrals to
human service agencies in Council bluffs, referrals for legal and immigration
cases, interpretation and translation services for Centro Latino clients,
referrals to food pantries, furniture and clothing providers, and notary public
services.
Health Services
Medical and dental appointments are available at the Council Bluffs
Community Health Center.  Bilingual staff attends to Spanish-speaking
patients and free transportation services are available for Community
Health Center patients.
Education
The Centro Latino works collaboratively with Iowa Western Community
College to refer adults to English as a Second Language (ESL) and GED
classes.
Childcare
Childcare is available for parents attending ESL classes from 9:00 AM
-12:00 PM, Monday-Wednesday at Lutheran Family Services and in the
evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays at
Broadway United Methodist Church located at 11 South 1st Street in
Council Bluffs.
Counseling
Counseling, family guidance, and family-oriented conferences are available
by appointment.
